Description:
This authentically detailed sword is a reproduction of the prop featured in
The Prince of Persia - “The Sands of Time”, presented by Disney©. United®
Cutlery, industry leader in finefilm prop reproductions, has meticulously
recreated the actual filming prop.
This epic live-action adventure takes viewers across mysterious lands where
deceit and betrayal threaten the destruction of two noble kingdoms. The hero,
Dastan, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, embarks on a journey of redemption that
unlocks the mysteries of the past. Along his journey Dastan meets Tamina,
Princess of Alamut, portrayed by Gemma Arterton. She is sworn to protect the
secrets of the sands of time. While Dastan and Tamina try desperately to keep
the Dagger of Time out of the hands of evil, the chief Hassansin, portrayed by
Gisli Orn Gardarsson, and his band of black-cloaked villains attempt to steal
the dagger using their weapons and uncommon fighting style.
The blade is constructed of 420 stainless steel with a false-edge. It has
been distressed with battle-worn nicks to match the filming prop. The highly
decorated hilt parts have been precisely cast from antique finished metal, with
a hardwood grip, as seen in the film. The cast metal pommel features an
intricately detailed pattern identical to the actual filming prop. The replica
was created using the finest grade materials and craftsmanship available. Close
attention to quality is a top priority in every piece. Each replica includes a
custom wood wall plaque with a unique silk screen design, brass shield and a
certificate of authenticity.
