Twilight Sequels
Melissa Rosenberg (screenwriter for Twilight) will be back to script the adaptations of the bestsellers, New Moon and Eclipse.
Twilight fans will be happy to learn that the screenwriter of the first film will be back for Summit Entertainment’s two planned sequels.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Melissa Rosenberg is set to script the adaptations of Stephenie Meyer’s bestsellers New Moon and Eclipse. Rosenberg is not attached to adapt the fourth book, Breaking Dawn.
Reports that Summit was developing a film version of New Moon surfaced last month.
Meyer’s official site offers the following synopsis for Eclipse, the third book in the Twilight series: “As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob—knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death. But which is which?”
