Shrek Forever After

Shrek Forever After, arrives at a theater near you this Friday (in wide release). This is supposed to be the final installment in the series and the friendly ogre is tired of being a nice guy.

In this sequel, Shrek is duped into signing a pact with the smooth-talking dealmaker, Rumpelstiltskin. Now, Shrek suddenly finds himself in a twisted, alternate version of Far Far Away, where ogres are hunted, Rumpelstiltskin is king and Shrek and Fiona have never met. Now, it’s up to Shrek to undo all he’s done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one True Love.

MacGruber

Macgruber also opens in wide release this Friday. The movie is based on the Saturday Night sketch of the same and it stars Will Forte as special operations agent, MacGruber.

Summary: After bad guys killed his wife (Maya Rudolph), soldier of fortune MacGruber devoted his life to peace. But when his old nemesis (Val Kilmer) gets control of a nuclear weapon, MacGruber’s former boss (Powers Boothe) convinces him to risk life and limb one more time with the help of a new team (Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe).

Queen Latifah and Common light up the screen in the romantic comedy, Just Wright. The chemistry between these two is undeniable making this romcom the perfect date movie.

NBA All-Star Scott McKnight (Common) injures his knee and turns to physical therapist Leslie Wright (Queen Latifah), who pulls out all the stops to help him return to the game. Leslie finds herself falling for the gorgeous NBA star, but he is oblivious to her overtures. Instead he falls for Wright’s gorgeous gold digging friend Morgan (Paula Patton).

The movie arrive in theaters on May 14, 2010 and the poster is available for sale on our site now. If you are a Queen Latifah fan like we are you will love this movie.

As far as sequels go Iron Man 2 “is a cut above most”, says Jim Vejvoda at IGN. It introduces a lot of new characters in the set up for The Avengers 2012, but it deals with it well. Read on but be aware there are spoiler alerts.

Contrary to what AC/DC says – the band of choice in the Iron Man films – hell is a bad place to be, especially if you’re Tony Stark. In many ways, Iron Man 2 is an argument for a superhero maintaining his/her secret identity. Tony is definitely paying the piper for his glib declaration at the end of the first movie that he is Iron Man. Now, six months later, the U.S. government wants his tech, as does Stark’s rival Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell, playing him as Tony’s villainous doppelganger), who has succeeded Tony as the U.S. military’s top weapons manufacturer. Tony is more arrogant than ever, and his ego — to swipe a line from Top Gun — is writing checks that his body can’t cash.

Tony brazenly shows up both Hammer and a U.S. Senator (Garry Shandling) during a televised hearing. The government doesn’t like the idea of a private citizen possessing such potentially destructive technology and wants in on how to make it. What if their enemies developed such tech? Tony dismisses their fears, saying that any such advances are at least 20 years away. But what he doesn’t know is that at that moment an old enemy of his family’s is hard at work in Russia on his own version of Stark Industries’ arc technology.
