Synopsis: John Carpenter's spine-tingling update of Howard Hawk's, The Thing is more of a sequel than a remake. Kurt Russell is R.J. MacReady, a helicopter pilot for a group of scientists in the Antarctic. After their discovery of a Norweigian camp that's been destroyed by an unseen force, the crew begin to experience strange physical phenomena, and odd behavioral shifts which indicate something unnatural may be amongst them.
