In May 2005, Star Wars Episode III will be in the theatres. To commemorate the
release Gentle Giant has sculpted this 14 inch highly detailed statue of the
Dark Lord of Sith (stands 15 inches with base). This is a full representation of
the classic Star Wars character and is an authentic licensed collectible
designed and developed by Gentle Giant Studios. Limited to 7,500 pieces
worldwide.
To assure 100% realism, Gentle Giant Studios three-dimensionally scanned the
actors, costumes, and props as well as original uniforms and models from the LucasFilm Archives. This information was then processed, digitally output, and
combined with traditional sculpting artistry to create the final sculpture,
making these statues the closest one can come to owning a piece of the Star Wars
universe.
