Billie Piper will reprise her role as Rose in the fourth season of Dr. Who. Read on to find out more:
The Doctor never got over losing Rose, and the fans never got over losing Billie Piper. Now, the Doctor’s first companion (in this new series) is returning to the show for an arc in the fourth season, according to the BBC. This is in addition to Freema Agyemen and Catherine Tate, who will also serve as The Doctor’s companions for a number of episodes.
Piper, who began playing Rose Tyler in the first season of the revitalized Doctor Who left the show at the end of its second season. Her character was trapped in a parallel Earth – with no means of returning. How Rose will return is unknown at this time, but the BBC reports that she will star in three episodes of the season.
