Star Trek may appear in Imax, according to First Showing.
Director J.J. Abrams’ big screen reboot of Star Trek may boldly go where many high profile feature films of late have gone before (and with great success): to IMAX theaters.
While Star Trek wasn’t shot on IMAX cameras the way that The Dark Knight was, First Showing claims that the movie “will be converted to 70mm for projection on IMAX screens. Star Trek will hit both regular and IMAX theaters everywhere on May 8th next summer.”
