Seven songs from the Twilight soundtrack is floating around on the Interwebs.
Few films of the moment are generating as much buzz across the Interwebs as Twilight. The cinematic recreation of Stephenie Meyer’s bestselling novel is catering to every aspect of the fans, but there’s an extra special focus on those with inclinations toward modern music.
To wit the soundtrack for the film is poised to be the sonic movie-tie-in of the year as it features a wide array of artists from Perry Farrell to Muse, on down to Paramore, and Iron & Wine, just to name a few of those involved; it certainly covers all the bases from indie rock to Old School Alternative (although there are no rap tracks) and even provides music that was written specifically for the film.
Twilight Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Track Listing
1. Supermassive Black Hole (Muse) 2. Decode (Paramore) 3. Full Moon (The Black Ghosts) 4. Leave Out All The Rest (Linkin Park) 5. Spotlight(Twilight Mix) (MuteMath) 6. Go All The Way(Into The Twilight) (Perry Farrell) 7. Tremble For My Beloved (Collective Soul) 8. I Caught Myself (Paramore) 9. Eyes On Fire (Blue Foundation) 10. Never Think (Rob Pattinson) 11. Flightless Bird, American Mouth (Iron & Wine) 12. Bella’s Lullaby (Carter Burwell)
As can be expected bits and pieces of the soundtrack have already emerged on the ether, with YouTube being the primary outlet.
We were able to track down no less than 7 of the album’s 12 tracks. And while we’re not sure if these are indeed official leaks, they certainly sound like they could be (it should be noted that there are other leaks out there, but these seemed to be of the same quality and were posted by the same source).

Current Satellite Party frontman has written a new song for the upcoming vampire film, Twilight:
Former Jane’s Addiction and Porno For Pyros and current Satellite Party frontman Perry Farrell has gotten wrapped up in the Twilight mystique.
Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke, (Lords of Doggtown<) approached Farrell about working on a song for the film.
As a result, the singer/DJ penned a new song entitled “Go All The Way,” which will be featured in a crucial scene in the film.
“The song conjures up that adolescent feeling when a young man, whose been pursuing a girl he really likes, finally gets her,” explains Farrell. “It’s about the intense emotions when they go all the way.”
“Go All The Way” was produced by Atticus Ross (NIN) and mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, U2).
The new track will also appear on the movie’s soundtrack, which is due out on November 4th, 2008. The film opens on November 21st.

The Spider-Man 3 soundtrack features some real heavy hitters. IGN.com reviews the soundtrack from the film. Read on:
As with most summer blockbusters Spider-Man 3 comes with its own accompanying soundtrack. Keeping in long standing tradition, it’s not so much a soundtrack as it is an album of songs “inspired” by the film. Okay, so several of the tracks are “in the film” per se, that is if you count them blasting over the end credits as being “in the film.” Let’s face it, how many of you actually stay through the credits these days? Exactly.
Despite being relegated to the end of the film, the soundtrack features a list of heavy hitters ranging from Snow Patrol to The Killers, Jet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wolfmother, and The Flaming Lips.
The album kicks off with Snow Patrol, who continue their descent from once quirky indie band into Arena pop theatrical hell, delivering emotive and emphatic lushness that will resonate with the masses. To be fair, “Signal Fire” is engaging with its combo of piano and frontman Gary Lightbody’s plaintive vocals, but it also rings with a caught in the headlights of a passing truck blasting Coldplay type of vibe that’s pretty damn hard to ignore. Focus on the skirling guitar crush and rippling symphonic cadence and you’ll survive the impact.

The Spider-Man 3 soundtrack set to hit stores on May 1st. Read on:
Following in the tradition of the previous two Spider-Man soundtracks the album tie-in for Spider-Man 3 will feature a bevy of modern rock ‘n roll music, much of it recorded specially for the film.
The major differences, however, with the third film’s tie-in soundtrack is that for one it’s being released on venerable SoCal indie label Record Collection (as opposed to Sony, the label that released the previous two sonic outings) and the majority of the music is coming from decidedly more left-of-center artists this time around.
The likes of The Flaming Lips, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Wolfmother, Walkmen, and others dot the album, many delivering previously unreleased songs.
The album will be released on May 1st, just three days prior to the film’s release, giving all Spidey fans plenty of time to immerse themselves in the aural blitz and get psyched for the movie itself.
The first song to be released from the album will be the Snow Patrol number “Signal Fire.” D. Sardy, best known for his work with Oasis, Jet, Wolfmother, Primal Scream, and the Cold War kids, produced the soundtrack.
