These are the movies arriving on DVD this Tuesday: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Drag Me to Hell, and Imagine That.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Synopsis: The battle for Earth has ended but the battle for the universe has just begun. After returning to Cybertron, Starscream assumes command of the Decepticons, and has decided to return to Earth with force. The Autobots believing that peace was possible finds out that Megatron’s dead body has been stolen from the US Military by Skorpinox and revives him using his own spark. Now Megatron is back seeking revenge and with Starscream and more Decepticon reinforcements on the way, the Autobots with reinforcements of their own, may have more to deal with then meets the eye.

Drag Me To Hell

Synopsis: Evil Dead director Sam Raimi takes the helm for this “spook-a-blast” shocker about an ambitious L.A. loan officer who incurs the wrath of a malevolent gypsy by refusing to grant her an extension on her home loan. Determined to impress her boss and get a much-needed promotion at work, Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) lays down the law when mysterious Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) literally comes begging for mercy at her feet. In retaliation for being publicly shamed, Mrs. Ganush places the dreaded curse of the Lamia on her unfortunate target, transforming Christine’s life into a waking nightmare. Her skeptical boyfriend, Clay (Justin Long), casually brushing off her disturbing encounters as mere coincidence, Christine attempts to escape eternal damnation by seeking out the aid of seer Rham Jas (Dileep Rao ). Imagine That

Synopsis: In Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies’ family comedy “Imagine That,” Eddie Murphy stars as a successful financial executive who has more time for his blackberry than his seven-year-old daughter (Yara Shahidi). When he has a crisis of confidence and his career starts going down the drain, however, he finds the solution to all his problems in his daughter’s imaginary world.

The full list of Autobots and Decepticons that will be appearing in the Transformers sequel has been revealed.

The Autobots and Decepticons appearing in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen have finally been officially identified.

Yahoo! Movies has posted a list that reveals the following Autobots as appearing in the Michael Bay-directed sequel: Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, and Bumblebee are back from the first film, joined by the female motorcycle Arcee, Sideswipe, the twin concept cars Skid & Mudflap, and two former Decepticons, Jetfire and Jolt.

The Decepticons will be made up of Starscream, Scorponok, the Audi R8 Sideways, communications satellite Soundwave, the four-legged Ravage, radio-controlled truck Wheelie, spider-like robot The Doctor, the Constructicon Demolisher, Devastator (the Constructicon composed of Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster), as well as The Fallen.

The list curiously omitted Megatron; Bay has said he will not be in the film, although Hugo Weaving recently revealed that he’s recorded a vocal performance for it.

Michael Bay has written the outline for Transformers 2.

As the writers’ strike appears poised to finally end, Transformers director Michael Bay has revealed that he’s already penned the story for the sequel himself, despite the fact that his screenwriters — Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci and Ehren Kruger — were not allowed to work on the project during the strike.

“I’ve been writing Transformers 2,” Bay revealed to RottenTomatoes.com. “We’ve got our characters all designed. I always write all my scripts, my movies anyway so at least I’ve got something to give the writers. It’s like a template. We have a really good outline so I worked on that.”
